It's an incredibly special event. People from
every walk of life will unite in a bold display of courage and commitment
to support HomeStart's
mission to end homelessness in Greater Boston and beyond, one person at
a time. Every day, more than 6,000 people walk our wintered streets looking
for shelter. We invite you to do the legwork with us to help end their
search.
Have
you ever walked past a homeless person and wondered what you should do?
Winter Walk is your chance to go the distance to end homelessness in Greater
Boston.
Net proceeds from Winter Walk benefit HomeStart, and will be used
to remove the last barriers to place and keep HomeStart clients in permanent
and affordable housing. Winter Walk is an inter-faith event and is being
underwritten by the Unitarian Universalist Area Church at First Parish
